Trailing 5-2 after five innings, the Wisconsin TimberRattlers had six hits and scored six runs in the top of the sixth inning and went on to beat the Dayton Dragons 11-7 in a Midwest League game Wednesday night at Dayton, Ohio.
Wisconsin's Shin Soo Choo and Chris Collins each went three for five. Guillermo Martinez, Alejandro Cadena and Jeff Ellena lef the team with four RBI.
Renee Cortez (4-3) worked 5 2/3 innings for the win, striking out four and walking one. He gave up 10 hits and six runs, all earned. Daniel Head worked 1 1/3 innings and Lanny Patten worked a scoreless eighth and ninth striking out three.

Through all the lineup changes this week for the Dayton Dragons, one player has remained in the lineup and his regular position, Edwin Encarnacion at third base.
Wednesday night was an example of why, although he somehow couldn't spark the team to a victory.
Encarnacion blasted a three run homer in the fifth over the left field wall, his team leading sixth of the season to give the Dragons a three run lead that evaporated into an 11-7 defeat to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in a Class A Midwest League game played before 8,134 at Fifth Third Field.
The homer broke a 2-2 tie, then the TimberRattlers snake bit the Dragons for six runs in the sixth and three more in the seventh two win for the second straight game.
As was the case Tuesday, when Wisconsin blasted four homers to beat the Dragons 6-3 in 13 innings, the homer played a big part, Jeff Ellena doubled his homer output with a grand slam off reliever Joe Powers in the sixth.
