Burlington Hawk Eye

Ruben Gotay drove in four runs and scored three to lead the burlington Bees to an 11-3 Class A Midwest League baseball victory over Clinton Thursday at Alliant Energy Field.

The Bees evened their record at 26-26 reaching the .500 mark for the first time since April 11 when they were 4-4.,br>
Chris Tierney went seven innings on the mound allowing just one earned run, to get the win and improve to 4-5.

Gotay's 3 for 4 batting performance including his fifth home run of the season. Ben Cordova extended his hitting streak to eight games, matching John Draper for the longest by a Bee this season. Cordova rapped a triple and notched three RBIs on 2 for 3 hitting.

Jonathan Guzman added a solo home run as every Burlington starter collected at least one hit.
