Forfeited Game, Canton defeats Decatur. Decatur manager Julian Acosta failed to stop his pitcher from talking to fans during warmups, then pushed the umpire Harold Hoelscher, who fell. Score was 3-3 in the seventh at the time of the ejection. Acosta was briefly suspended by league president Dutch Hoffman as a result.
