Shin Soo Choo scored on an error in the top of the 13th inning and Greg Dobbs followed with a two run homer to give the Wisconsin TimberRattlers a 6-3 win over the Dayton Dragons on Tuesday in Dayton, Ohio.

Choo reached on a walk to lead off the 13th and advanced to second on Jason Rainey's single. When Dayton left fielder Randy Ruiz committed an error on the play, Choo scored and Rainey went to third. Dobbs then homered to left for the three run advantage.

The Rattlers tied the game 2-2 in the sixth when Corey Freeman and Dan Floyd hit back to back homers. Wisconsin went up 3-2 in the seventh on Sean Peless' homer before Dayton tied the game in the eighth on a TimberRattlers error.

Jeff Perez pitched 4 1/3 innings in relief to get the win, with Mike Kesten earning his fifth save.

Already this season the Dayton Dragons were bombed for three home runs in a game and lost.

Tuesday night, they did themselves one better, giving up four, and losing again, this time 6-3 to the the Wisconsin TimberRattlers in a Class A Midwest League game witnessed by only a few hundred of the original 8,033 fans at the end at Fifth Third Field.

The Dragons lost 3-1 when South Bend hit three homers at Fifth Third Field, April 20.

Despite taking a 2-0 lead in the fourth and allowing no hits through on out in the fifth. Dayton starter Daylan Childress suddenly was tagged, tagged and tagged again on back to back homers by Corey Freeman and Dan Floyd in the sixth and by Sean Peless on the first pitch of the seventh.

Chris Williamson's double and a bobble by Floyd in right field led to a tying run in the eighth.

Then in the 13th, the latest the Dragons have ever played. Shin Soo Choo walked with one out and scored when left fielder Randy Ruiz let a single through for a run, Greg Dobbs followed with a two run homer off loser Luis Valera.
