The Quad City Angels were victimes of a no hitter in the second game of a Midwest League double header here Sunday, but scored a run on a base on balls, an error and a double play to win 1-0. The lost the opener 6-3.

Chris Heintz and Dave Langrock combined to hold the Angels hitless, but it was Heintz' throwing error that cost him the game.

The Cub hurler walked Tom Silverio to lead off the fifth inning, then fielded Fred Balbuena's attempted sacrifice and threw the ball into left field. Silverio ended up on third base and scored when Ike McCraw bounced into a double play.

Balbuena went the distance for the Angels, scattering four hits, and halting a four game Quad City losing streak.
