The time for revenge was upon us. Last year in the playoff series against Clinton we took the first game, and then thy swept the other two in our home park - too eliminate us.The Cougars scored two in the first and then single runs in four other innings to take the game 6-2. The bullpen did a nice job for the Cougars in keeping the lead.

With one out in the first inning, Luke Appert singled to right. Vasili Spanos then singled to left. One out later, David Castillo singled to left to score both Appert and Spanos.

The Kings would come back with two runs of their own in the fourth inning off of Cougar starter Jared Trout. With one out Micah Furtado lined one over the centerfielders head for a double. Josh Kruezer doubled to left to score Furtado. Larry Grayson reached on a fielder's choice, with Kruzer being out heading to third, on a ball hit to short. Grayson then stole second. Justin Hatcher walked. Dane Bubela singled to center to score Grayson. The Cougars then brought in Brigmer Leon who struck out Cody Clark to end the inning.

Dan Fyvie had a little trouble but got throgh it unscaved. With one out, Abigal Sandoval singled to right. Furtado then singled to center. Kruezer poped out to second.
