The Keokuk franchise failed on 8/7. The league moved them to Dubuque, recruited John Petrakis to oversee the operation, and renamed them the Midwest Dodgers. For the remainder of the season they shared Petrakis Field with the Packers. At the time of the failure, Keokuk's record for the second half was 16-16, the Dodgers posted a 18-16 record in Dubuque.
