Danville joined the Mississippi-Ohio Valley league in 1951 and left after the 1954 season. Being replaced by Kokomo
They rejoined the league in 1970, assuming the lapsed Dubuque franchise. The team disbanded after the 1976 season and was not replaced.
In 1982 they were an expansion franchise. The next year they moved to Peoria, IL
